The Eat + Shop + Vegan pop-up is yet another 100% vegan event in the books for Baltimore’s veg community!
Organized by Donut Alliance, Eat + Shop + Vegan featured regional makers selling their vegan merchandise and delicious plant-based eats at an afternoon pop-up marketplace on July 29th at the Impact Hub. Among the goodies available were chocolates from Charm School Chocolate, brews from Brewing Good Coffee Company, fermented foods from Boochleggers, eats from Nourrie Cuisine, a variety of items for sale from V Marks the Shop, photography from Yoga Animalia Project, aromatherapy and bath/body items from Deep Leaf Organics, and (of course) donuts from Donut Alliance.
And when there are Donut Alliance donuts, you better arrive early! This event was no exception—the line for donuts exploded right from the start, and didn’t subside until the last crumb of the last donut was sold. But the crowd stuck around long after.
Eat + Shop + Vegan was the first of hopefully many more vegan shop-ups to come. The event provided a great opportunity to support local and regional businesses and meet the faces behind it all.
Once again, we see the robustness of Baltimore’s vegan community. The array of stellar makers, artisans, and chefs is energizing, and time and again we experience the strength of the social fabric as folks turn out in numbers to show their support.
